sa evedaṃ jagad-dhātā
bhagavān dharma-rūpa-dhṛk

puṣṇāti sthāpayan

tiryaṅ-nara-surādibhiḥ

tataḥ kālāgni-rudrātmā yat
sṛṣṭam idam ātmanaḥ |

ittham-bhāvena kathito
bhagavān bhagavat-tamaḥ

nettham-bhāvena hi
paraṃ
draṣṭum arhanti sūrayaḥ

nāsya karmaṇi janmādau
parasyānuvidhīyate

kartṛtva-pratiṣedhārthaṃ
māyayāropitaṃ hi tat

ayaṃ tu brahmaṇaḥ kalpaḥ
sa-vikalpa udāhṛtaḥ

vidhiḥ sādhāraṇo yatra

kalpa-lakṣaṇa-vigraham

yad āha no bhavān sūta
kṣattā bhāgavatottamaḥ

cacāra
tīrthāni bhuvas
tyaktvā bandhūn sudustyajān

kṣattuḥ kauśāraves tasya
saṃvādo 'dhyātma-saṃśritaḥ
|
yadsa bhagavāṃs tasmai
pṛṣṭas tattvam uvāca ha

brūhi nas tad idaṃ saumya
vidurasya viceṣṭitam
|
bandhu-tyāga-nimittaṃ ca
yathaivāgatavān punaḥ

rājñā parīkṣitā pṛṣṭo
yad avocan mahā-muniḥ
|
tad vo ’bhidhāsye śṛṇuta
rājñaḥ praśnānusārataḥ
